I marked this down from 499.- to 299.- due to a small crack in the neck.
It does not effect the playability and it stays in tune.
It is repairable if you really wanted to.
$ 299.--
It is 100% playable and all the electronics are working as they should.
It is actually in great shape!
_ HISTORY: _
The Matsumoku Company in Japan was contracted from 1965 to 1972 to make these instruments for Norlin, Gibson's parent company at the time, and that Gibson sent a team of luthiers to Japan to oversee the production. This was the beginning of the manufacturing of a standard high end instrument for Gibson's parent company and the entire music industry. These guitars were distributed out of Beaverton, Oregon, USA by the L.D. Heater Music Company.
L. D. Heater Music was owned by Norlin Inc. Norlin was based in Illinois and owned Gibson, Ampeg, Epiphone and other music related companies at the time.
