This is not your average Epiphone SG, it’s been upgraded with 100’s of dollars of high-end parts. First, she has BG Bucker hand-wound pickups which sell for 100 bucks each! I’ve included some info below and a link to their website so you can actually hear these pups in action). Also installed are vintage-style Gotoh locking tuners.It’s also been wired to 50’s specks and an all-parts tailpiece vibrato installed by the locally-famous ‘Guitar Garage’ in Lubbock, TX by Wally Sanders. Included is also a set of Orange Drop capacitors in case you’d like to install to tweak your sound even more. The guitar is absolutely flawless , no scratches dings etc. All together, Guitar (350), Case (90), Pickups (200), Tailpiece (150), Tuners etc (70), there is over $900 invested in this guitar by the original owner when you include labor and installation. Heck of a guitar for a serious player! Heck of a deal.

My BG Bucker Clear Top is a classic style humbucker that was designed to capture the tones of the 60s-70s-and beyond. The tones are rooted in the early PAF realm and the materials are basically what was used in the old pups. The sound is created to have an open, dynamically complex sound with chimey highs and tight lows. Also this pup was designed to have a very believable split coil sounds.

This set is wound like a stock set of BGBs but they are wound on 2 NOS screw pole clear T-Top bobbins from the old Gibson Kalamazoo factory. Also this set use 2 A4 magnets specifically tuned for this set. This set has great vintage tones with a touch less highs in the bridge than the stock BGBs and the neck has touch more highs. The bridge has a nice crunchy bite to it. The neck is buttery while still retaining highs.

This is a limit edition model. As of now they will be limited to 100 pickups.
