Gibson re-introduced the ES-135 in mid-1991
It was originally a full-depth model with one P-90 pickup
when it was first offered during the mid-1950s
Gibson re-modeled the guitar into a thinline semi-hollowbody with a body of laminated maple and a Chromyte (balsa) centerblock.
The body is 16 inches wide with single pointed cutaway.

maple neck with 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay
tune-o-matic bridge
raised beveled black pickguard
chrome-plated hardware
Grover tuning machines
dual covered humbucking pickups
peghead decal logo and model name decal
dual f-holes
Both top and back are single-bound
Controls include 2 volume and 2 tone knobs on lower treble bout
and pickup selector switch on upper bass bout
Gibson discontinued the ES-135 in 2004
