The Photos can't do justice to this Beauty!!!!

Please do not compare/confuse this USA GUILD with the newer ones
made in Asia. You can find a large number of the Asian made
Guilds for $850. on eBay. That's like comparing an American made
Strat/Tele with one made in Mexico!

This is one of the Last American Made Guild Starfire's to be made at The Westerly, RI. Plant. This is a Guild Starfire II converted to a III. This is a Full Hollow Flamed Maple Body with Mahogony neck and Rosewood Fretboard. This guitar is in amazing condition with no nicks, chips, dings, or buckle rash at all. Frets look and play like new, Neck is straight and fast.

The serial number dates it to late 2000 to Early 2001. Here are some of the upgrades done to this guitar.

The original bridge has been replaced with a roller tune-o-matic bridge. The original tailpiece has been replace with an authentic Guild branded Bigsby. This thing holds tune and intonates perfectly even after dive bombing the bigsby. The original pickups were replaced with GFS Hot Nashville Retrotrons which give it that vintage tone and vibe (replaced all wiring from pickup to pots as well as a new switch).

Great for everything from Rockabilly to Country to Rock and roll to Smooth Jazz. The neck has a profile similar to a strat or 60's Gibson. Action is set low and Fast. All upgrades, setup, and custom work on this guitar was done by Danny D's Guitar Hacienda. This guitar has Never Been Gigged, Just used in my studio and gently in my Smoke free home. Also included in this sale are the original Seymour Duncan HB-1 pickups as well as the original Pickguard, Rosewood Bridge, Guild Harp Tailpiece, and original Guild Hardshell Case. The flame on the maple of this guitar is Amazing!

This is one of the sweetest Guilds ever produced.
Step back about 40 years and hear how good it really was.
